Visa Information for Cruise Ship Passengers

All visitors to Russia must be in possession of a Russian Tourist Visa – however this requirement is waived for cruise ship passengers participating in some organized tours, but under certain restrictions: you won’t be able to choose or change the tour operator, and you also won’t be able to go ashore independently and explore the city on your own. To get this opportunity, and to be at liberty to participate in any of the tours offered by MariaRose, you should obtain a Russian Tourist Visa.

If you wish to book some of Sightseeing or Heritage tours with MariaRose Tour Operator, you should also order the Visa Support Documents with us. These documents will allow you to get the Russian Tourist Visa at your local Russian consulate. The price of these documents (Visa Invitation and Voucher) is 20 ˆ.

What steps should you perform to get a Russian Tourist Visa:

1. Book a MariaRose Sightseeing Tour or a Heritage Tour online (2 minutes).
2. Note “Need visa” in the Booking Return Confirmation you will get in the end of the booking process (2 minutes).
3. Receive via e-mail a special Visa Support Form (within 24 hours).
4. Print the Form, fill it in and send us by fax (2 minutes).
5. Receive your Visa Invitation and Voucher from us by fax (within 24 hours).
6. Submit the documents to the Russian Consulate and apply for a Visa (3 to 7 days).
7. Your Russian Tourist Visa is to be attached to your passport either stamped to it.
8. You have arrived to St. Petersburg with a valid Russian Tourist Visa in your passport. Our guide meets you with a sign “MariaRose” at the Port Entrance to start the tour.
